Workshops for ParentsViolent and Challenging Behaviour (VCB) is a very common symptom that can develop in children with a neurodevelopmental disorder such as a Learning Disability, Autism (including PDA), or ADHD, yet there is very little practical support, understanding or information available to families who are facing some very difficult situations at home. Instead they often feel judged and blamed for their child’s behaviour.

This is largely because the scale of this issue is not acknowledged, and the frontline staff in our statutory services who they may turn to for help are unlikely to have any training, experience or understanding of the Yvonne Newboldissues underlying these behaviours.

I can offer talks, full-training and half-day workshops on VCB for both parents and staff, where many of the following issues can be covered, with lots of time for reflection and discussion around these challenging issues.
